Incline Platform Stairlifts

Xpress II

The Xpress II inclined platform wheelchair lift is an ideal accessibility solution for straight stairways with two landings.  For design versatility, the Xpress II can be mounted on either side of the stairway depending on the stairway design and location.  The Xpress II can be installed with little or no structural modifications.  It is available in a variety of platform sizes, can be custom powder coated in any RAL colour, is DDA and elevator code compliant, utilise mains power and has a capacity of 35 stone.

BC Lift Internal Drive

Internal Drive is a newly developed rail system that integrates the mounting for the stair lift within the rail itself.

This has a number of advantages, both from a functional and safety point of view, but also of a purely aesthetic nature.

For example, the rail will never get dirty or scratched since the supporting system is not visible, and the rail can therefore be used as a handrail for other users of the stairs.

The rail is fabricated in anodised aluminium.  AS a completely new option, we are also able to decorate the rail with, for example, a beech or maple wood finish.  This enables the lift to be naturally incorporated into its surroundings.

The Internal Drive rail system is used for BC platform lifts, and can be used for straight flights of stairs, stairs with landings and curved flights of stairs.

Stairmate Major

The Stairmate Major is the world’s only portable inclined platform lift. It provides instant, affordable accessibility where stairways are a barrier. The unique platform design will accommodate all types of wheelchairs including power, child, sports and conventional adult wheelchairs. Stairmate Major is ideal for public and residential buildings.

The patented Stairmate Major climbs up and down stairs on steel-reinforced rubber tracks that are driven by dual, battery-powered motors. Super-Trac can climb up to 30 flights of stairs on a single charge. The large platform accommodates virtually any wheelchair. Simple, well identified controls make Stairmate Major operation easy. Safety features, such as an electrically interlocked seat belt and a parking brake, ensure passenger safety.

The Stairmate Major can instantly solve your accessibility problems. It does not require any expensive and time consuming building renovations or installation permits. Stairmate Major costs a fraction of a permanently installed lift or elevator. The portable design means there is no permanent impact on stair width or building egress. Stairmate Major can be easily moved from one stairway to another, or even to a different building as your accessibility requirements change.
