DDA Equipment - Tactile Signs

Braille and Tactile signs, Portable Induction Loops, Portable Wheelchair Ramps and many more... are auxiliary aids to help service providers comply with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).

The DDA requires service providers to improve disabled access and provide an equal service to their customers with disabilities, these are provided to help service providers comply with Health & Safety regulations and the new legislation created by the DDA.

Our signs and labels uses Grade 1 Braille and provide short specific information to users.  This form of Braille is the most widely used by readers.

This raised information is crucial to the success of accessible signs and together with the Braille, help to confirm to the use that the information is correct.

Our manufacturer uses the most advanced techniques to manufacture both photopolymer and vacuum formed signs.  The end product is quality signs fully compliant with latest guidelines.  Not only do the signs meet the needs of those with visual impairments, but the incorporation of pictograms, wherever possible, means that the signs are also designed for those with learning difficulties.  The end product is superior in every detail, both functionally and visually.  Signs can be produced in corporate colours and incorporate the most intricate of company logos.
